Red Wines

The red wines.

The first is Loisu in which Sangiovese prevails with a note of international varieties such as Merlot and Shiraz, followed by Pitrinu, a characteristic wine of the place in which the predominant variety is Caricagiola. And finally, Petru, the latest born, a pure Merlot with a strong and warm character at the same time.

BIOLOGIC WINE

A wine of all respect obtained by the union of grapes of Merlot, Shiraz and Sangiovese, that fit and mature wonderfully in our sunny hills of Tempio Pausania. With a full bodied character, it shows an intense red color, a scent of ripe fruit with light hints of green olives;  to the palate it has a taste of red fruits, slightly tannic and persistent.

Vine training system: sapling and spurred cordon
Pruning: poor
Treatments: pure and coppered sulfurs
Grape yield per hectare: 55 q.li
Harvest: only hand picking – September
Alcohol content: 13°
Serve at 16° – 18°

A wine of all respect obtained by the union of grapes of Merlot, Shiraz and Sangiovese, that fit and mature wonderfully in our sunny hills of Tempio Pausania. Obtained in purity from grapes of Merlot, this red wine shows a ruby ​​red color and a great elegance; at the nose, intense scents of red berried fruits are enhanced, accompanied by a light spicy. At the taste it has a complex bouquet, the wild cherry is accompanied by a soft and velvety palate. To serve with red meats, great roasted and wild ones.
